Ballyrashane who have sponsored the County Londonderry teams since 1992 are pleased to be again associated with the County.
Situated on the outskirts of Coleraine, Ballyrashane Creamery has long supported local youngsters in the competition as Nigel Kemps explains.
“The sponsorship dates back before my time here,” he says, “but I’m sure it must be approaching 20 years almost.
“The fact that we’re a local company and able to support the four council areas of the County Londonderry squad means a lot to us.
“The Milk Cup has at its core a healthy message and that is something which we encourage as well. But on a social level, we’re putting something back into the community.
“It’s great to see the enjoyment that the fellas and their families get out of the Milk Cup and that is why we keep supporting the county teams.”Founded in 1896, Ballyrashane Creamery currently employs around 150 people and has a turnover of around £50m, making it one of the largest businesses in the area.
“The company is owned by local farmers and we are an independent company,” continued Nigel.“The board is very supportive of our association with the Milk Cup which helps to raise awareness and the profile of the company.
“Hopefully we will be working together for many years to come.”
