There were mixed results for the County Londonderry teams on Monday at the Milk Cup.

County Londonderry Premier 0 Tottenham 4
A packed Limavady Showgrounds were entertained by a good game of football unfortunately for Joe Doherty's local lads Tottenham ran out comfortable winners. The first half was a very close encounter with County Londonderry starting the brighter despite obvious nerves. The first half chance came when Cathair Friel broke on the left and crossed a good centre that David Healy caught nicely on the volley and the Spurs keeper turned over the bar. Another good strike from the edge of the box by Jordan McLaughlin from a half cleared corner brought another good save. Jason Dixon made his first save after 11 minutes when he held a shot drilled at him. Tottenham got the opener on 20 minutes when the impressive playmaker was not closed down and was allowed too much time to shoot. The ball moved from left to right and Dixon got a hand to it but couldnt keep it out.
Straight from kick off for the second half Spurs showed their intention and Dixon was called on to make a fine save with his feet in the first minute. However 2 minutes later another powerful shot was palmed into the net by Dixon and the uphill struggle was then too much. The County battled to the end and Bonner and McKeever impressed in the centre of defence while Ciaran Villa worked tireleslly in the midfield. Londonderry made all five allowed subs and the game freshened up again.Spurs however went on to score 2 more soft goals. One a late run from midfield and a free header from a corner. Sam Boylan came close to scoring with a delicate chip but the keeper tipped over to keep a clean sheet and a final score of 4-0.
