Well done

Have been following the milk cup for some years now and would like to say a big well done to all involved in the County. L/Derry teams. I feel that the junior team were treated unfairly against Watford as the referee obviously didn't know how long the match was to be played for and then having a meeting with the Watford managers at half time - wonder what was going on there???????

Both teams fought hard and put up a good game but the referee was definately one sided when it came to penalties and in his time keeping - think things would have been different if he had of done his job correctly.

Both teams ... ...

were a pleasure to watch this year. I try to watch as many games as possible of both the Juniors and Premier sides and wasn't disappointed this year. Both teams played some fab football and did not let down the fans who travelled from the city to support them. Disappointed at the Juniors match against Watford today after battling so hard but I have to say I still was every bit as proud. You should hold your heads high lads. Good luck to all the players, officials and managers in the future and thanks again for showing us some wonderful football this week.

Always next year

There is always next year lads. Disappointing way to go out for the Junior side against Watford. Felt for the lads today. I have to say I think the ref had a lot to do with it. He was very unfair and got confused over the timing. I could have refereed the match better. Well done anyway lads - you put in a good in-ings and both teams have done the County proud.

PROUD AS PUNCH

Just wanted to drop by and let the County Londonderry side say how much I enjoyed the game against Watford. I felt the referee was very unfair and was definitely biast. Also he couldn't keep time, don't know what all that was about to be honest surely there can be no dispute about timings as there were two linesmen there! Things might have been different if it had been a different fairer referee. Am sure the teams have enjoyed the week and this is one local who is proud of how you guys performed. Well done lads.

CONGRATS ONE AND ALL!

I have been fortunate enough to go and see most of the County Londonderry games and have been very impressed with both teams performances. The junior team have simply been unlucky to have lost their first two games and should be proud as they have played some very skillful football. They surely are one of the favourites to win the Dunluce Trophy. The Manager should be delighted with his teams performance - they really have been putting their hearts and souls into the game. Good luck to the team as they compete for the Dunluce Trophy. I will be there cheering them on every step of the way. The Premier Team are doing fantastic and am sure like everyone in the County are rooting for them and hoping they can continue to play with the skill they have shown during their first two matches. There are several players on this side who are skilled enough to hit the BIG time! Good luck to both teams and well done to everyone involved in getting both teams up to this high standard of football - you have done the county proud!

Joe Doherty

Congratulations to the Premier Squad, what a fantastic result, good luck in the second game against the Germans lets see a repeat performance.

I believe the Junior Squad were very unlucky and gave a great performance also, so hopefully things will go much better in the second game and they will get a result.

Make my day with two results on Tuesday!
